This is the cover for a story I am doing with
Michael Koenig. It is a trickster tale, the Tale of Coniglio. It is the
story of Coniglio (which means "rabbit" in Italian), and his traveling
companion and friend, Afparti. Forced from their native land by a
terrible drought, the two wander disconsolately until they find a garden
full of carrots and turnips. The garden is guarded by a very fierce
watchdog, and the pair have only their wits to rely on.
